Notre Dame College (NDC) announced today that it has received the largest donation in its 90-year history. Normandy Catering has made a commitment of $2.075 million over 10 years, with $1.75 million in cash earmarked for the College’s annual fund, student financial aid, and support of the College’s general building and construction initiatives. There is an additional $325,000 in-kind component to the gift. The College has received three gifts of half a million dollars or more in the past eight months.

Notre Dame College has named Janet G. Ashe its new vice president for finance and administration. She will assume her responsibilities on Jan. 3, 2013.

Notre Dame College and the Renee Jones Empowerment Center will host the 2013 Northeast Ohio National Human Trafficking Day Conference that addresses human trafficking, the worldwide crime against humanity and growing form of 21st Century human slavery, in its many forms and manifestations. The symposium will provide a wealth of important information to the general public, with particular interest to healthcare professionals, educators, law enforcement, church and faith community leaders, community members, students, parents, social service providers and victim advocates.

Did you miss our performances of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee?" If you were so unfortunate, this slideshow at least gives you a sense of how hilarious one of Broadway's most buzzed about hits was. 

Notre Dame College’s Clara Fritzsche Library will host “humanity?” - an exhibition of works by local artist Boni Suzanne Gelfand - from Nov. 8 to Dec. 15. The artist will give talks 2-3 p.m. on the afternoons of Wednesday, Nov. 28, and Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the library. The free exhibit depicts humanity’s mistreatment of its fellow man and Planet Earth. It will open with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8.

Save the date for a magical day of Christmas at Notre Dame College! We are inviting students, alumni, employees and friends to bring their families to campus for an old fashioned Christmas celebration on Saturday, Dec. 1.

The Notre Dame College Art Club will host an All Student Art Fair in the Performing Arts Center from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29.
