An Evening with President Lincoln

This April 12 marks the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War, and Notre Dame College’s Future Educators Club will commemorate the occasion by hosting guest speaker Abraham Lincoln in the Performing Arts Center at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29.

President Lincoln is portrayed by impersonator Gerald Payn, a former educator and school counselor, who will speak for about 45 minutes and then answer questions from the audience.

Payne will also discuss the value of guest speakers and historical re-enactments in K-12 classrooms. His wife, Marilyn, will accompany him dressed as Mary Todd Lincoln.

The event is free and open to the public.

Notre Dame College is located at 4545 College Road in South Euclid, Ohio. The Performing Arts Center is located on the ground floor of the Administration Building.
