The Finn Center for Adult, Graduate and Professional Programs unifies all aspects of adult education at NDC, providing convenient, flexible programs for educational advancement on days, nights, weekends and the Web.

What happens when a local artist combines her passions for photography and aviation? We don’t have to spell the answer out for you. Instead, Yvonne R. Sanderson’s photographs do just that in a very literal way.

Notre Dame College’s Abrahamic Center will host a special program and book-signing entitled “The Human Face of History,” on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the College’s Performing Arts Center.

With the healthcare debate on most Americans’ minds, Notre Dame College (NDC) will host a timely discussion about women in healthcare for its fifth annual Women’s Leadership Forum. Four female leaders in the local healthcare industry will discuss their paths to success in the College’s Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Notre Dame College (NDC) will celebrate the inauguration of its Abrahamic Center on Monday, Nov. 9, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the College’s Performing Arts Center. The event features a memorial program on the 71st anniversary of Kristallnacht – often referred to as the beginning of the Holocaust – and a talk on Abraham by Bruce Feiler, author of such bestselling books as “Abraham: A Journey to the Heart of Three Faiths” and “Walking the Bible.”

Notre Dame College (NDC) will present alumna Therese Buettner Hummer ’46 with the 2009 Fidelia Award, one of the college’s highest honors, on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Mrs. Hummer of Gates Mills, Ohio will be recognized for more than six decades of service to Notre Dame College.

Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Alex Storozynski will visit Notre Dame College (NDC) on Monday, Sept. 28, to talk about the American Revolution in the College’s Performing Arts Center at 9:30 a.m. Storozynski is the author of “The Peasant Prince: Thaddeus Kosciuszko and the Era of Revolution.” The one-hour long lecture is free and open to the public.

Notre Dame College’s Center for Pastoral Theology and Ministry, along with the College’s Eastern Church Resource Center, presents the 25th annual Eleanor Malburg Eastern Churches Seminar, “Holy Communion: You and I in Christ.” The seminar examines the Holy Eucharist as the central act of worship of Catholics and Orthodox. It will be held at Holy Trinity Church in Parma, Ohio on Friday, Oct. 9, and at Notre Dame College on Saturday, Oct. 10.
