Dr. John Hatzadony will lead a workshop for students at Gilmour Academy.

At Gilmour, Dr. Hatzadony will host a workshop for Dr. Deanne Nowak’s forensic science class. This lab-based course gives students the opportunity to integrate their knowledge of chemistry, physics and biology while improving problem-solving abilities in a crime lab context.

Dr. Hatzadony brings his extensive real-world experience into the classroom. His workshop introduces students to crisis decision-making and intelligence analysis as practiced in the intelligence community. It consists of a brief overview of the intelligence field, the analytical methods used, and an analytical crisis simulation. The simulation is the same type that entry level government analysts take. While introducing students to the concepts and methods of intelligence analysis, it also enhances their critical thinking, writing and public speaking skill sets.
