"Hearts on Fire" is the theme for this year's FEST.

Notre Dame Co-Sponsors the FEST

Notre Dame College will once again serve as a major sponsor of the FEST, a free, Catholic family festival to be held at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe, Ohio, on Sunday, Aug. 7.

Since 2001, the FEST attracts more than 30,000 people every year. It features live music, games, vendor booths and an outdoor closing Mass followed by a fireworks display. Notre Dame College students will work the event stage as MCs, and an NDC tent will feature the admissions and alumni offices along with campus ministry.

This year, the FEST features nationally recognized Christian recording artists MercyMe and Remedy Drive. Cleveland’s Praise-Apella will also perform along with other Christian bands and performers. The Marc’s Adventure Zone will host Rise Above Entertainment, who will thrill onlookers with its BMX show. There will also be inflatable games and activities for kids and teens.

“The event is truly family friendly with plenty of good music and activities for all ages,” said Director of Campus Ministry Anthony Camino. “We’ll be greeting people, passing out wristbands and other items, and spreading the word about our great College.”

The theme for this year’s FEST is “Hearts on Fire.” With the help of over 1,300 volunteers and sponsors like Notre Dame College, which has supported the FEST for three years, the event is free to all who attend.
