The Notre Dame College football staff is hosting its annual summer social for parents, families and friends of the program to kick-off the 2011 season at Spectators Sports Grille in Willoughby Hills, Ohio, on Tuesday, Aug. 9.

Notre Dame College will once again serve as a major sponsor of the FEST, a free, Catholic family festival to be held at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe, Ohio, on Sunday, Aug. 7.  

Notre Dame College’s Clara Fritzsche Library will host “Painting with Thread,” a showing of embroidered works by Eugenia Vainberg from June 16 to Aug. 5. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, June 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Americans have long been fascinated by the beauty of Italy and for centuries have embraced the Italian people, their rich culture and the historic past that lives on even today. Spring 2012 will be your chance to experience that rich culture of Italy with Notre Dame College!

Notre Dame’s Art Department has launched a Web gallery app to showcase the College’s studio artwork and promote the studio art courses.

As summer arrives this year, the picturesque Notre Dame College campus will be the stage for two weekends of Shakespeare as well as the College’s first-ever art show fest.

Notre Dame College, in partnership with the City of South Euclid, will present “Art on the NDC Circle,” an opportunity for artists to display their works surrounded by the beauty of the serene and picturesque Notre Dame campus.

Notre Dame College will offer an English as a Second Language course this summer. The class will meet in the College’s Administration Building from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 6 to July 29.

Internationally-known, award-winning photographer Janet Century has photographed children worldwide for over 25 years. A solo exhibit of her pictures, titled “Little Prints and Princesses,” will open with a reception at Notre Dame College’s Clara Fritzsche Library at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 28.

Notre Dame College’s theater department will host four performances of Edgar Lee Master's American classic “Spoon River Anthology” for its annual spring play in the Regina Auditorium from April 14 to 17.
