More than 170 graduates will receive their diplomas during Notre Dame College’s 87th commencement on Saturday, May 14.

In order to shed a light on the problem of unemployment, homelessness and poverty in America, Notre Dame’s FalconCorps will host the College’s first Poverty Awareness Week from April 4 to 8.

Notre Dame’s Career Services Center will host the final job fair of the semester in the foyer of the Administration Building from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13.

The non-profit organization Invisible Children will visit Notre Dame College on Thursday, March 24, to screen its latest documentary “Tony: Lose All. Gain Everything.” in the Regina Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

This April 12 marks the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War, and Notre Dame College’s Future Educators Club will commemorate the occasion by hosting guest speaker Abraham Lincoln in the Performing Arts Center at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29.

Notre Dame College’s Student Nurses Association will host a spaghetti dinner on March 21 to raise funds for the 2nd annual Notre Dame Nurse Pinning Ceremony in May.

As part of a presentation to a class of Notre Dame College students, members of the Mentor, Ohio, bomb squad and associated public safety vehicles will be on campus the morning of FRIDAY, MARCH 18.
