Notre Dame College's Abrahamic Center is proud to present Diana Eck as its 2012 distinguished lecturer. Eck, a religious scholar, author, professor of comparative religion and Indian studies, and director of The Pluralism Project at Harvard University, will speak in the Regina Auditorium on "Religious Diversity in America" at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Notre Dame College’s Clara Fritzsche Library will host “Paperworks: The Human Touch,” a showing of works by the Western Reserve Calligraphers from Sept. 27 to Oct. 31.

Notre Dame College and ESPN Cleveland have extended their partnership to air NDC football games and other Falcon athletic programming for the next three years.

The Notre Dame College football team has kicked off its first season in the NCAA Division II. As part of the excitement surrounding Falcon Football several local coffee shops, pizzerias and other stores are offering specials on football home game days.

Notre Dame College will host a major workshop for middle school and high school teachers, AP coordinators and school administrators on Thursday, Oct. 11. Sponsored by College Board, the program is expected to draw up to 500 educators to campus.

Notre Dame’s Career Services Office will host its fourth annual graduate and professional school fair in the foyer and first floor hallway of the College’s Administration Building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct.1.

Notre Dame College’s Academic Support Center will host a workshop on behavioral disturbances led by Dr. Jay Berk, a licensed psychologist and expert in working with children, adolescents and families, for its 2012 North Eastern Ohio Education Association Day on Friday, Oct. 12.

The Notre Dame College Theatre Department is holding open auditions for its upcoming production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” a new musical comedy directed by NDC faculty member Brian Marshall.
