Annual Blue & White Notre Dame College Spring Football Game Scheduled for April 19

Notre Dame College Football Head Coach Adam Howard has announced that the annual Blue & White Spring Game will be on Friday, April 19, and will raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The game will be played at 7 p.m. at Korb Field. There will be no charge for entry, but fans will be encouraged to make a donation to the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Make-A-Wish is the official charity of NCAA Division II, with member institutions raising in excess of $2.4 million for the charity since 2003. As a new NCAA Division II member, Notre Dame Athletics has made donations to Make-A-Wish a priority and has raised $1,200 for the charity so far this year.

In addition to the entertainment on the field, the College's Campus Activities Office will host a Punt Pass and Kick competition at half-time, which will give Notre Dame students an opportunity to win a $100 gift card.

Notre Dame College Football will hit the field in the fall of 2013 as a member of the newly formed Mountain East Conference, an 11-team league, with teams based in Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia.  The Falcons are slated to begin their 2013 season play on Thursday, Sept. 5, with a home game against the Malone Pioneers.

Korb Field is located at Charles F. Brush High School, 4875 Glenlyn Road in Lyndhurst, Ohio.
