The Courageous Children of the Holocaust by Boni Suzanne Gelfand

Clara Fritzsche Library will host “KinderToys: The Courageous Children of the Holocaust,” an exhibition of works by local artist Boni Suzanne Gelfand that focuses on the youngest victims of Nazi persecution through their toys and drawings. Utilizing still photos, collages, paintings, installation art, quotes, replica toys and memoirs and historical literature, the exhibit will tell the stories of the children from a personal level and serve as a springboard for reflection and discussion. An opening reception will be held in the library and take place on Thursday, November 7th.

Refreshments will be served!
