Graduate Schools Come to Notre Dame

Notre Dame’s Career Services Office will host a graduate and professional school fair in the foyer of the College’s Administration Building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4.

This year marks the second in a row Notre Dame is hosting the Grad School Fair-a-Van. Among the institutions represented are Baldwin-Wallace College, Case Western Reserve University, the University of Dayton and a few out-of-state schools (see full list below).

“This fair is designed to expose students, faculty, staff and alumni to all graduate school options such as financial aid, career decisions and choices of graduate schools,” said Kim Lane, director of career services.

Those attending the fair will receive a timeline that lists all requirements to enter a graduate program, including entrance exams, applications and essays. The event is free and sponsored by Notre Dame’s Career Services Center.

For the second year in a row Lane has partnered with seven career services offices from Northeast Ohio colleges and universities to promote the Grad School Fair-A-Van to over 1,000 graduate school representatives. These recruiters visit the eight Northeast Ohio colleges and universities to meet undergraduates in one convenient week. The NDC fair is the first to kick-off the Grad School Fair-A-Van (a moniker developed by the group as recruiters will “caravan” to each campus).
