Medical Mutual Commits Financial Aid Support for Notre Dame College Students

Medical Mutual of Ohio, a long-time supporter of Notre Dame College, has given $50,000 to the College to provide scholarships for students.

Medical Mutual’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Jared Chaney recently presented a check to Notre DAme President Andrew P. Roth on behalf of the company.

“Notre Dame College has long had a commitment to academic excellence in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio that is being recognized by generous people who know the importance of values-based, smaller, private schools such as ours,” Roth said.

“For Medical Mutual to recognize the needs of so many of our students speaks volumes about their character and their belief that the good work we are doing is being noticed, is making a difference, and is worth investing in. We thank them for their generosity and their confidence in our College and the students who, without financial assistance, might not be here,” the president added.

Over the years, Medical Mutual has been very generous to the College and has supported programs that reflect the diversity of the student body and its need for students to have access to financial aid as their only means of achieving a high quality college education.

More than 95 percent of Notre Dame students receive financial aid, and more than 50 percent are the first in their families to attend college.
