Notre Dame College to Perform "All Shook Up!" The Elvis Musical April 4-6

The Notre Dame College theatre program will present "All Shook Up!" The Elvis Musical at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 6. All performances will be in the College's Regina Auditorium.

"All Shook Up!" is a retelling of Shakespeare's "The Twelfth Night" set in the 1950s and inspired by and featuring songs of Elvis Presley. It is based on the book by Joe DiPietro and directed by Brian Marshall.

Tickets are $15 for the general public and $5 for seniors and students. They are available at the door on a cash-only basis. For additional information, contact theatre director Jacqi Loewy at 216.373.5189

Following Sunday's performance from 5-8 p.m. will be a Sock Hop in the Regina Gymnasium. Admission will be free with a ticket stub from "All Shook Up!" or $10 without. The dance will feature oldies and light refreshments, and attendees can meet cast members from the musical.

Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC)

Notre Dame’s spring musical is one of three theatrical performances, two art shows and a literature-based seminar included in the College's "Second Act: A Revitalization of Arts and Culture in the Community" grant program.

The College has been awarded a $26,000 grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC) to bring together senior and student artists and performers from the community to collaborate through inter-generational dialogue, creativity and life-long learning.

"Second Act: A Revitalization of Arts and Culture in the Community" is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
