Notre Dame College Announces Thomas Kruczek as Fourteenth President
The Board of Trustees of Notre Dame College is proud to announce the appointment of Thomas Kruczek as the fourteenth president of the College, succeeding Dr. Andrew P. Roth who will retire on June 30.
Kruczek is currently Dean of the College of Business and Management at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla., where he has been since 2011. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of the Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. Hereceived his Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame in 1979.
Providing leadership to the committee charged with securing Notre Dame College's fourteenth president was a shared responsibility of Board of Trustees Vice-Chair Rich Garcia and Board Member Sherry Hribar. Board of Trustees Chair Mac Donley would like to offer his personal thanks to the members who served on the committee and Karen Poelking, vice president for board and committee relations, for her tireless support throughout the process.

The candidate scheduled to visit campus on April 10 announced today that he is withdrawing from consideration for the presidency of Notre Dame College. Meeting sessions for Thursday, April 10, are canceled. Additional information will be forthcoming.
Notre Dame College Announces Finalists in Presidential Search
Notre Dame College in South Euclid, OH, has announced three candidates as finalists for president. The candidates will be visiting campus to meet with students, faculty, staff and the board of trustees beginning Tuesday, April 8 through Thursday, April 10. The following candidates will participate in the final, on-campus interview process:
Tuesday, April 8 - Thomas  G. Kruczek
Currently serves as Dean, College of Business and Management, Lynn University, Boca Raton, FL
Wednesday, April 9 - Stephen J. Pugliese
Currently serves as Vice President for Student Development and Undergraduate Enrollment, Immaculata University, Immaculata, PA
Following the announcement last fall that President Dr. Andrew P. Roth will retire effective June 30, 2014, a national search was initiated. Roth has served as president of the College since July 1, 2003.
An announcement of the selection is expected to be made later this month.
The Presidential Search Committee met on Tuesday, March 25, and completed the review of applications for the presidency of the College. Off-campus interviews will be held next week on April 2 and 3.
Campus interviews will take place on April 8, 9 and 10, and April 7 if a fourth date is needed. Karen Poelking, Vice President of Board and Community Relations, is preparing a detailed agenda for each visit which will identify the date, time, location and constituency group for each session. That schedule will be released by Monday, March 31.
A special meeting of the Board of Trustees to select the next President is scheduled for April 23.
Dr. Andrew P. Roth announced on October 25, 2013, that he will step down as President at the end of the 2013-2014 academic year after 11 years of service. The College has enjoyed much success and growth during Dr. Roth's presidency, and the task of finding the right person to continue that upward momentum and take the College to the next level of achievement has begun.
The College has initiated a national search for its new president. A search committee made up of faculty, staff and trustees has been formed and is co-chaired by Board of Trustees Vice-Chair Rich Garcia and Trustee and alumna Sherry Hribar ‘75. Plans call for Notre Dame’s 14th president to begin on July 1, 2014.
