College Develops Expertise in Leadership Team

AsheNotre Dame College has welcomed a new member and said farewell to another in its senior leadership team.

Janet G. Ashe, previously of the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Ohio State University, joined the College as vice president for finance and administration in January. At the end of June, David A. Armstrong, vice president and general counsel, left Notre Dame to become president of Thomas More College.

Ashe previously served as the chief business, finance and operational officer at the Cleveland Museum of Art. She also has spent a total of 13 years in higher education finance: as vice president for business and administration at the Ohio State ArmstrongUniversity and treasurer and vice president for business and finance at Eastern  Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich.

She earned her MBA from the University of Detroit and her Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Michigan State University.

Armstrong holds a Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and accounting from Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pa., and becomes the 14th president of Thomas More in Crestview Hills, Ky.
