Our department offers flexibly scheduled face-to-face and online courses covering a broad range of topics for those who want to attain or maintain certificates or licensure in a particular field, learn new job skills or simply want personal enrichment.
Coursework for Educators
Founded 90 years ago, Notre Dame College has a long tradition of teacher education. We continually review and update our teacher education programs with new courses to strive to offer professional development that informs teachers about emerging technologies, pedagogies and interpersonal relationships that are so important to have when working with students, families and administrators.

Teachers who hold an Early Childhood PK-3 Teaching license may add a fourth and fifth grade endorsement that is aligned with the Ohio Academic Content Standards for 4th and 5th grades. The Notre Dame College Reading Endorsement prepares teachers to support the reading needs of all students in grades PK-12, whether they are struggling or gifted readers. The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory (NEW)
The Notre Dame College Office of Professional Development is excited to be in partnership with The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory. Students interested in Morgan Art courses may earn graduate credit for their studio workshops. Graduate credit cost is an additional $130 per credit hour.

World Instructor Training School (W.I.T.S.)
Notre Dame College, in partnership with World Instructor Training School (W.I.T.S.), offers a 9-week personal training certificate program that prepares individuals for careers in the fitness industry.
