Get Up and Get Involved

Do you play sports on campus? Are you a part of any organizations or clubs? Are you majoring in sports management, marketing, advertising, communication or public relations? If you are not involved in any outside activities and your major is listed above, you need to become part of Notre Dame’s Public Relations and Communication Club (PR&CO).

PR&CO was founded by NDC student Alyssa Henning with the mission to promote the events and activities of other clubs and organizations on campus. Our duties to fulfill this mission include creating and posting banners, fliers, table tents, Web sites, e-mails, Facebook accounts and postcards for events that need promotion. PR&CO has supported events for the Psychology Club, the Fair Trade Fair, and the Abrahamic Center, among others. Our efforts help to ensure such events are well arranged and produce satisfactory attendance.

Next year, I will have the honor of furthering the success of PR&CO as president along with Vice-President Jessie Andrews. Our goal is to take the duties and efforts of this organization to new heights through independent events produced and promoted exclusively by PR&CO. Although advised by Professor Dr. Michael Bloom, PR&CO is operated solely by the students. This is why we need you!

If you would like to join PR&CO, all you have to do is contact Chardonnay Graham at cgraham07@students.ndc.edu or Jessie Andrews at jandrews07@students.ndc.edu.

We are looking for members who are creative and passionate. You will not only contribute to campus activities but also gather experience towards your future occupation. We are an organization that works hard, but has a lot of fun too. So join PR&CO and launch a successful public relations and communication career now.
