Notre Dame College seeks an entrepreneurial, dynamic leader who has a demonstrated record of successful performance in an academic setting or a similarly complex organization. Bringing exceptional administrative experience, strong character, and a passion for teaching and learning to the chief executive position, the President will be committed to propelling the College toward even higher levels of achievement.
The successful candidate will value the College's mission, culture, community, campus life, and heritage, especially the creative and compelling ways in which the faculty unleash the potential of students. The President will support the significant role the institution plays in the community at large and its steadfast commitment to scholarship and diversity.
Combining business acuity with analytical strengths will be key. The President will be capable of initiating entrepreneurial and resourceful approaches to financial leadership and management. The President also will seek and develop new channels of support for the College.
A confident and perceptive leader, the President will work collaboratively with others, finding common ground among diverse viewpoints. Together with the abilities to balance and prioritize, the President will possess the discernment and judgment to assess, modify, and initiate programs and goals that enable the College to advance its mission.
The President will embrace the role as Notre Dame's chief ambassador and excel in representing the College. The executive officer will help preserve and enhance the connectedness of each part of the College community.
