On Campus Recruiting Activities
Throughout the year Notre Dame College promotes activities for employers to meet and interview prospective employees.
Mini-Job Fairs enable employers to set up a recruitment table in a high traffic area to meet informally with students and faculty while promoting job opportunities and internships/co-ops. There is no cost to participate.
This event is designed to offer employment, internship and/or co-op opportunities for our students. They are conducted on campus from 11:00am -12:30 pm. We provide the table. You provide the table signage, literature and a table covering to attract students. Recruitment tables are set up in the Connelly Center lounge/hallway. This location allows us to capture the attention of a significant number of students on campus, as classes are not in session.
Our Mini-Job Fair dates for 2013 are:
- March 27 , 2013
- April 17, 2013
If you are interested in participating in one or more of these events, please complete and submit the registration form. Instructions are included. Because we can only accommodate a limited number of employers, registration is on a first come basis.
2013 Mini Job Fair Employer Event Registration
Online Recruiting and On-Campus Interviewing are beneficial and effective. Employers can promote their full-time, part-time and internship/co-op openings via our online job board FalconNet and interview pre-selected candidates on campus throughout the year. We will assist you in scheduling these activities.
Please call 216-373-5290 for any questions you may have.
We look forward to seeing you on campus!
Career Fairs
Notre Dame College co-sponsors the annual Northeast Ohio Teacher Education Day (NOTED) so school districts can meet and hire over 1,000 teacher candidates. The next NOTED is on March 21, 2013, at the John Knight Center in Akron Ohio. Registration information is on the website at www.notedjobfair.org.
Internship & Cooperative Education Program
We have an established co-op/internship program which is a graduation requirement for all Bachelor of Arts candidates. Positions may be paid or unpaid and may vary in length. Please see our Internship/Co-op Program Employer Guide for a detailed plan for creating your organization’s internship/co-op program.
Employers are encouraged to post openings directly on our free online job board at CollegeCentral.com/NotreDameCollege. All questions pertaining to the Co-op/Internship Program should be directed to Meghann Sullivan, Internship/Co-op Coordinator, at msullivan@ndc.edu or at 216.373.6453
